ADA Annual General Meeting 2009


 

Notice of Annual General Meeting

 

The ADA's 2008/09 annual general meeting will be held in the downstairs theatrette at the RACV Club, 501 Bourke Street, Melbourne, on Sunday 22 November 2009 beginning at 1:30PM.

 

General Details

 

Parking is available at the venue at a cost of $6 per day for RACV Club members or $13 per day for non-members.

 

Nominations for the board of directors, and agenda items for the meeting, are to be submitted to the national office by close of business on Monday 16 November 2009.

Adoption of the new ADA Constitution, replacing the 1998 Memorandum and Articles of Association and updating the constitution so it complies with the Corporations Act, 2001 (rather than the 1989 version), is a special resolution on the agenda for the meeting. A copy of the proposed new constitution (as at 08 November 2009) is available here and will be updated as new amendments to the draft are approved by the Board following suggestions by members. The final version for consideration by the AGM will be posted here no later than 21 November 2009.
