Bequests to the ADA

Please help us to help Australia's defence over the long term

Why bequests are important

The Australia Defence Association (ADA) has long been Australia's only truly independent and non-partisan think-tank and community-based guardian of the public interest concerning defence and wider national security issues.

Defending Australia and our way of life is a long-term project requiring comprehensive planning and sustained investment over decades and indeed generations. Governments of all political persuasions tend to neglect their fundamental responsibilities in this regard due to a shorter-term focus on immediate events and buying votes in the current electoral cycle by diverting funding to those issues thought to be immediately popular.

But we should not gamble with the future of our children, grandchildren and succeeding generations by under-investing in our common defence now.

A bequest is your opportunity to make a meaningful, tangible and lasting gift that will show your appreciation for the work of the ADA. It will help underwrite the ADA's efforts as a perpetual and unrelenting advocate of Australia being adequately defended – for and in the future.

Please consider making a contribution to the ADA as part of your legacy as a citizen and a family elder.

How you can make a bequest to the Australia Defence Association

Please send me more information on the ADA's bequest program.
