Minimum requirements for your enquiry

Because of occasional mischievous, dishonest and crank enquiries your email to the ADA will be automatically filtered out as spam and remain undelivered unless you:

fill in the subject line of your email with a specific, intelligible and relevant entry that assists us in directing it to the best person to answer you;
have the courtesy and integrity to identify yourself appropriately, as we do in our public comment and on this website, by providing as a minimum your first name and family name, your telephone number, your postal address and your email address so we can have a proper discussion by the most effective means (and not necessarily just by delayed, time-consuming and subject-limiting email exchanges);
state your enquiry clearly, succinctly and politely;
ensure that your comments are not offensive, illegal, repetitious or meaningless; and
include enough information and context to enable us to provide you with a viable answer.

Please note again that your email will not be delivered if you fail to identify yourself appropriately as requested in the second sub-bullet point above. An alleged name, nickname and/or your email address alone are not sufficient identification to prove your bonafides, especially if you are using a web-based email provider.
