Submissions&Reports

Australia Defence Association submissions to parliamentary and official inquiries, conference addresses, operational and technical analyses, and occasional papers are available on request.

Parliamentary Committee Inquiries. In many cases, ADA assistance to parliamentary inquiries involves a formal submission, the subsequent provision of an oral submission at the invitation of the relevant committee, and the citation of ADA views in the committee's final report. The links to the relevant parliamentary committee website below are for the formal submission only. In general, Hansard transcripts of ADA oral submissions and Committee final reports can also be found on the parliamentary website (http://www.aph.gov.au).

Requests for ADA Publications. As a common courtesy and to assist both our surveys of community interest and of Association member satisfaction, please provide the following information when requesting ADA publications:

• the title of the publication(s) involved;

• your name, postal address, email address and daytime telephone number;

• your reason for seeking the publication; and

• your country of residence if it is outside Australia.

Privacy and Survey. We are not able to satisfy requests unless you include the above information. All information provided is for survey purposes only. As explained in our privacy policy, any information you provide will not be passed on to any other organisation without your prior express permission. If you provide us with your email address to facilitate communication you are signifying your agreement to receive occasional ADA emails unless you specify otherwise.

Feedback. You are also encouraged to give us feedback on how useful or informative you found the publication or publications provided.

Hard Copies. Hard copies of ADF publications incur a small fee of $A5.00 to cover printing, postage and handling charges. PDF copies can also be provided electronically, at no charge, in some cases.
